Excuses, excuses...

I know I've been lurking too long, leaving almost all the burden to fill this blog to our Indonesian-based host. But I have excuses -- too many excuses -- for my absence:
  1. "Are Western and Muslim values irreconcilably at odds?"
  2. "How liberalism, Marxism and organic-statism view capitalism?"
  3. "Why did the West extend the franchise? Democracy, inequality and growth in historical perspective -- some comments."
  4. "Does social trust matter for economic growth."
  5. "Oaxaca decomposition and gender discrimination in the labor market in Indonesia."
Those are the title of my essays, which I have to finish by Christmas. And, off course, my final theses. But I always follow the postings and comments. Thanks for your great comments! (Back to lurking mode...).
