It's interesting how Friedman died not long after the death of his "rival", John Kenneth Galbraith. To see how the two has influenced the world, and read a discussion on "who will cast the longer shadow," read HBS Working Knowledge.

i would say there is no cost there (hence it's such a boring place). would it still be a market if there is no cost?
