But then, out of curiosity, I went over their timelines, the members (or so I guessed), aka "somaykrats". And they're damn interesting. Seems like they're after typos and food. But they also ridicule the shameless Senayan guys and other foolish politicians and their ilks in businesses. I have to say I like them, the somaykrats. So far, that is.
Ah, before I forget, I should calculate the penalties for Aco, Ujang, and AP.
What the meaning of somaykrat?

ReplyDeletei miss you, kate
ReplyDeleteSomaykrat: they are boring urban people who thinks they are too clever and that other people are far less clever than them. Thinks that it's OK to correct other people's typo.
ReplyDeleteI bet none of their gibberish-know-it-all conversation are worth listening to.

Dear Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteIn fact, some of Somaykrat members are keen on correcting grammatical errors too. Yes, we are that petulant and pedantic. Or condescending, as you might have implied by “thinks (sic) that... other people are far less clever than them”.
To prove my point:
Somaykrat: they are boring urban people who thinks (YOU SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN "THINK") they are too clever and that other people are far less clever than them. Thinks (AGAIN, IT SHOULD BE "THINK") that it's OK to correct other people's typo. I bet none of their gibberish-know-it-all conversation are (YOU SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN IS) worth listening to. T-T"
Enjoy the rest of the day, dear Anonymous.
